Changes to Figma access tokens affecting Storyboard design import
A quick update on some recent changes within Figma that required us to update our Storyboard Figma design import wizard.
Storyboard releases 9.0.2 and earlier may need updating to a newer release to support the Storyboard Designer import of new Figma projects with newly created access tokens. Access tokens created prior to the Figma change that are still valid should still work on earlier releases of Storyboard.
These download links are the official 9.0-stable (9.0.3 or later) releases and will install with any valid 9.x license key:

Background to the Figma import compatibility issue
Updates to Figma’s file management caused errors with new Figma token used in Storyboard Import from Figma functionality.
Details on the change by Figma are here: Updates to Figma’s file management
All references to Project that was uses previously have now been changed to Folder , which leads to the projects:read permission needed for the access token be replaced with folders:read going forward.
Figma reserve the right to change the permission configuration screen however essentially the Storyboard process will need read access to resources:

Figma licensing considerations
The Figma free plan can be use however Figma have applied limits to the number of REST API operations that can be consumed monthly for 'free' : Rate Limits | Developer Docs
In practice these limits mean that evaluation on importing simple models can be done in the 'free' plan but these will quickly exhaust the free allowance. It is recommended to use a suitable 'paid' Figma plan.
Thanks for bearing with us and hopefully you should be good to go with this new release.
